Week 17 - DM & Co. Homes - The Solihull Property Market

Wow, April has been incredibly kind. So much activity behind the scenes has put us in front of some exceptional clients. The very best relationships and businesses are built on trust. I had the absolute pleasure this week of meeting clients across the company and the feedback is positive as we continue to push boundaries locally.

“At DM & Co we believe in transparency and want our sellers and buyers to be kept up-to-date with market activity. With April nearly over, I thought I would give you a brief overview of activity across the sales offices for the month and compare that with March. It has felt a little quieter, particularly with the Easter holidays, so let’s see what the data says! In April we have registered 546 buyers, down by 22%, have been instructed on 33 new properties, down by 10%, and agreed 39 sales, down by 18%, however we have conducted 666 viewings, up by 1%, and there has been no reduction in the number of market appraisals carried out. Interestingly, according to Rightmove, new instructions are down 9% across the country, and sales are down by 19%, showing our activity throughout April certainly reflects the wider market.
