How time flies…and may I start by wishing a Happy 4th Anniversary to the Dorridge office - it feels like only yesterday that I was handed the keys! Grateful as ever for the tremendous support that we have in B93 and for team that I have, going from strength to strength.

A week into March, activity levels are really picking up - sales across the business remain strong, and buyers will be pleased to hear that stock levels are starting to increase! There are some exciting properties coming to market, but still many that are being sold before they hit the likes of Rightmove.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind buyers in this market to be incredibly vigilant, get to know your agent, every agent - they are very likely to be the source of your purchase and if they don’t know about you, then you are already on the back foot. If you are waiting to see your dream home pop up on Rightmove, you might not be moving anytime soon.

I have made reference to the industry before, our role (as estate agents) within it, is very much in marketing - the products that we market are properties and are often the single biggest asset that our clients buy or sell. You cannot simply pop a property on the internet and expect it to sell for best price, in a buoyant market it will, but will it reach ‘best price’ - and what is best price, how is best price achieved?

These are the types of conversations that I encourage my teams to have when meeting prospective clients day-in, day-out.
