The Letting Process
Arrange a valuation
Book a valuation to discuss your requirements and the rent you can expect to achieve. The private rental market is extremely competitive but at DM & Co Homes, we will always be honest and realistic with our numbers, to ensure your void period is minimal.
Choosing the right service level
We will help you to consider how much involvement you want with your property, tenant, and maintenance. Our lettings services are set out in two categories, Fully Managed and Let Only (Tenant Find Only service).
Property Preparation & Marketing
We will make sure your property is presented in the best possible light, complete with photographs, and advertise on the major property portals such as Rightmove and On the Market but also use social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram.
Securing a let
We will source the right tenants for your requirements. Our letting team will accompany the prospective tenants to view your property so we can point out the great potential and how it can suit them.
Tenancy progression
We will prioritise the progression of your tenancies to make the whole thing a lot less stressful. We’ll contact references, in order to assess their suitability as a tenant and the ability to cover the rental payments.
Move-in day
We’ll provide your tenants with written copies of all the tenancy information, the required certificates and the How to Rent guide all contained within a Handover Welcome Pack. Once that’s done and dusted, they will leave our office with the keys to enjoy their new home!
