As I have talked a lot about the length of time is takes to get sales agreed, I thought that this week I would look into how many days it was on average that it took agents to agree a sale.

I was both pleased and shocked - pleased because DM & Co. Are performing very well, but shocked at home many of the big established names in the market were taking so long - I will detail the results in the description to this video on YouTube.

There is definitely a synergy between overvaluing and length of time on the market - this all feeds into my belief and support for the ZERO week contract, be open, honest and transparent at all times and there should be no need to be tying sellers or landlords into lengthy contracts.

As is always the case all of the statistics that I gather and report on are provided by Rightmove and I keep an ever growing folder of records at the office if anybody would like to look into the detail.
